William Preston Sanders Sr. passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at the age of 80.  He was born on April 19, 1942 to the late Alberta Jackson and Preston Sanders in New Orleans, LA.

 He is survived by his companion Beulah Wilson; children Patrice Dunbar (Raymond) and William Sanders Jr.; stepchildren LaKeesha Chesley (Eric) and Kirtoya Flagge (Paul); grandchildren John and Shatoria Dunbar, Tyrik Boyd, Jocelyn Jackson, Erin Chesley, and Kayla Flagge; and 5 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Walter Wright.

 Relatives, friends of the family, Pastors, Officers and Members of First Zion Baptist Church and all neighboring churches  are invited to attend the  Funeral Service on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 10:00 am at First Zion Baptist Church, 1221 South Causeway Boulevard, Jefferson, LA 70121.
