Warren Ross, Jr.

1952 - 2024

Warren (Doc) Ross Jr., entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 31st, 2024, at the age of 71. He was a native of New Orleans, LA., and resident of the Cut-Off Community of Algiers. Warren attended the Jewish Community Center in New Orleans and The Louisiana State School for the Blind. Warren was a retiree of Little Sisters of the Poor. 

Beloved son of the Late Warren Ross Sr., and Delores Franklin Ross. Brother of Catherine "Cathy" Ross, Chris (Natasha) Ross Sr., Kent (Denise) Ross, and the late Patricia "Tricia" Ross. Grandson of the late Isiah Franklin Sr., and Della Gay Franklin, Eugene Ross Sr., and Victoria Parker Ross. Also, survived by his nieces Daleshia (Damien Sr.) Godchaux, Kenisha Ross (James Lawson), nephews, Avery Ross, Chris Ross Jr., and Jameel Ross. To add, a host of cousins, other relatives, and loving caregivers Kim Doughty, Angela Thomas, Rachel Steward, and Janet Walker.

Relatives and friends of the family also Pastors, Officers and Members of Second Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches. Employees of Sewerage & Water Board of New Orleans, and Dwight Eisenhower Elementary School are invited to attend the funeral services on Saturday, February 17th, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Second Baptist Church, 2836 Sullen Place, Algiers, LA. Pastor Andre Sigler, Officiating. Visitation  will be held from 8:00 a.m. - 9:50 a.m. Interment in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 1225 Whitney Ave., Gretna, LA. 70056.  Final arrangements entrusted to Patrick H.
