Warren Farlaice Fontenette, Sr. passed away peacefully at his home on February 23, 2023 at the age of 79.  He was born on May 14, 1943 to the late Andrew and Laura Fontenette Pierce.  He was preceded in death by his sister Ruth Rainey, his son Warren, Jr. and grandchildren Haushon and Melvin. He was a lifelong resident of New Orleans and graduate West Jefferson High School.  He was a former employee of Texaco Oil Refinery.  He fellowshipped at Second Highway Baptist Church in Marrero, LA. 

Warren Fontenette was the husband of Patsy Moses Fontenette.  He was the loving father of Donna Kelly, Vandella Evans, Annette Flemings, Annie Irvin, Darnella Jackson, Carol Laura, Catherine, Tameka and Shevelle Fontenette. He was the proud grandfather of 24 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren along with nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and his devoted cousin John Beloney.

Relatives and friends of the family, Pastors, Officers and Members of Solid Rock International Ministries and all surrounding churches are invited to the Celebration of Life at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Solid Rock International, 1542 Pailet Avenue, Harvey, LA  70058.
