Theola Mae White

Theola Mae White crossed over to her heavenly home on Monday, August 12, 2024, at the age of 82, she passed away peacefully at St Charles Parish Hospital in Luling LA. Theola Mae White, born to the union of the late Edward Alexander Sr. and the late Theresa Alexander on January 29, 1942. She was the wife of the late George White. She was the sister-in-law of Geneva Lyles, the late Marguerite Bowser, Verlene Flood, Phillip, Henry, Ruben, and Frederick White. She was the mother of the late Darryl White and Tanya a White, auntie of the late Wilbert Alexander Jr, and great-grandmother of the late Nassir B White and Ramaj M Brumfield. She was the niece of the late Delphine Sumler, Louisa Turner, Lucille Smith, Clarence, and Charles Alexander. The loving mother of Myra (Alton) Bovie, Yolanda (Herschel) Hill Jr, Denise (David Sr) LeBeauf, and Sarah (Keltric) Lockett. She treasured her grandchildren [ 15], and great-grandchildren [15]. She was the beloved godmother of Larry Alexander and Daniel Alexander.

Theola was the sister of 8 siblings: Alvin ‘Rogers’(Loretta) Alexander, Inez (late Nathaniel) Evans, Vernon, and Wilbert Alexander and Gloria Polly, the late Edward Jr, Charles, Earline, and Odella

Alexander. Theola was a faithful devoted member of the Mt. Zion Community Church where she served as a dedicated choir member until her health began to decline. Second only to her love of worshipping the lord, she loved making frozen cups and Rice Krispy treats. Sassy in all, she was loved and respected by family and friends due to her unconditional acts of kindness to all who she came in contact with. To the neighborhood, she was Auntie Mae, Cousin Mae, or moms. She always showed love to them, her family, her brothers, and sisters. You could not have said anything about them, right or wrong, she would shut it down - that’s the kind of love she had for them. She was cherished by a host of relatives and friends who she loved as much as they loved her. It is these moments and her physical presence that will be truly missed by all those who knew her.

Relatives and friends of the family, Pastors, Officers and Members of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life service at 11:00am on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Mt. Zion Community Church, 107 Magnolia Ridge Rd, Boutte, LA 70039. Reverend Charles Johnson-Pastor-Officiating.  Interment Mt. Airy Baptist Church Cemetery, 13635 Old Spanish Trail, Boutte, LA.  70039.  Visitation 9:00am until time of service at the above-named church. Final Arrangements Entrusted to Patrick H.
