Sonia Vela, age 47, entered into eternal life on January 20, 2021 at her residence in Kenner, LA. Daughter of Sylvia Vela and the late Lazaro Barriga. Devoted and Caring Mother of Anthony Vela and Adrianna Jefferson. Sister of Abel Vela and Elizabeth Sturgeon. Niece of Arthur Vela and Lydia Vela. Sonia grew up with her cousins who were like siblings Shaun Vela, Victoria Vela and Gary Diamond.
