Samuel Edward Williams “Sam” was called home to rest in God’s arms, on November 19, 2024, age 51. Samuel was born in New Orleans, LA on June 19, 1973, to Cynthia Williams and Samuel Sylvester. As a child, Samuel was independent, sociable, vibrant, and courageous.  Others would describe him as a ladies’ man. He attended George Washington Carver High School. He was a loving father. Who cherished the love of his family very much. He enjoyed being in the company of others. He was always in uplifting spirits, wanting to make everyone around him smile.

 Proceeding him in death, his siblings Chris Sylvester and Lashanda Gilmore; Grandmother Nancy Williams & Pauline Sylvester, Uncles Antoine Williams, Aunts Marietta Williams & Eartha Williams & Jeffery Williams.

Samuel is survived by his children, Samuel (Logan) Myers, Samantha Jordan, Kashonta Green, Shamika Lambert, Sammika Lambert, Brandon Toney and Jondeika Parker; grandchildren Mariah Melvin, Marvin Melo, Melanii, Milez, Christopher, Shaniyah, Jenel, Jaliyan, Joseph, Lakeh, Amari, Brandon, Jr., Kyric, Ayden and Kayden; Mother, Cynthia Williams, Father Samuel Sylvester, Brothers, Roonie Williams, Daniyel Sylvester and Samuel Sylvester, sisters, Lolieta Hill, Symethia Williams and Tarankcia Jones and a host of aunts, uncles nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family, Pastors, Officers, and Members of Next Generation of Original Morning Star Baptist Church are invited to the Celebration of Life Services at 10:00am on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at Next Generation of Original Morning Star Baptist Church, 3536 St. Ferdinand Street, New Orleans, LA 70126.
