Rosemary Johnson transitioned from her earthly life on Friday, April 19, 2024, age 89. She was born on December 23, 1934, to the late Henry Stewart, Sr., and Rosia Rosseau Stewart. Wife of the late Harold Johnson, mother of Melanie Aubert, Tonya Johnson, Molette Johnson and Kendrick Johnson, Sr., Sister of Velma Tumblin, and the late Lincoln Stewart, Juanita Joseph, Willa May Donald, Henry Stewart, Jr., Guy Stewart, James Stewart and Herber Stewart. Rosemary was the grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

She leaves to treasure her memories four children Melanie Aubert, Tonya and Molette Johnson and Kendrick Johnson, Sr., her sister Velma Tumblin and her 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Daughter-in-law Angela Johnson, Son-in-law Kenneth Aubert, Sr., Brother-in-law Harry Vinnett, Sisters-in-law Shirley Stewart and JoAnn Vinnett.

 Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband the late Harold Johnson, her parents Henry, Sr. and Rosia Stewart, sibling Lincoln Stewart, Juanita Joseph, Willa May Donald, Henry, Jr., Guy, James, and Herbert Stewart.

Relatives and friends of the family, Pastors, Officers and Members of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and all surrounding churches are invited to the Celebration of Life Service at 10:00am on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 100 Second Street, St. Rose, LA  70087. Rev. Freddie Dixon, Pastor-Officiant. Visitation 9:00am until time of service at the above-named church. Interment Jefferson Memorial Gardens, 11316 River Rd, St. Rose, LA 70087. Final Arrangements Entrusted to Patrick H.
