Rose Marie Chopin peacefully departed her earthly life on Thursday, October 26, 2023.  She was born on April 7, 1960 to the late Henry Chopin, Sr., and Elma Green. Rose Marie was baptized at a young age at Greater Good Hope Baptist Church in Norco, LA by the late Rev. Dale Parker.  She was educated in the St. Charles Parish School System.

Rose Marie leaves to cherish her sweet memories her children, Judy, Shanette, Karen, Kerry (Jamirer), Lisa and Kendell (Jessica) Chopin.  Her siblings Annie Carter, Mary (Micheal) Posey and Daniel Chopin. 20 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, 2 godchildren, Kendell Fenderson and Sharicka Chopin as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Rose Marie was preceded in death by her parents Henry Chopin, Sr. and Elma Green, her son Cedric Chopin, sisters Muriel Thomas, Barbara Chopin, Lilly Mae Chopin, Margarette Stewart and her brothers Raymond Chopin, Henry Chopin, Jimmy Champagne, and great granddaughter Kensleigh White.

Relatives and friends of the family, Pastors, Officers and Members of Greater Good Hope Baptist Church and all neighboring Churches are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00am on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Greater Good Hope Baptist Church, 47 Cathy Street, Norco, LA  70079. Rev. Tyrone Scott-Pastor-Officiant.  Visitation 10:00am until time of service at the above-named location.  Interment New Sarpy Cemetery, New Sarpy, LA.  Final Arrangements Entrusted to Patrick H.
