Rolland Kenneth Jones, Jr.

Rolland Kenneth Jones, Jr. departed from this earthly life at the age of 49 on Monday, February 14, 2022.  He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. 

Husband of 25 years to Ranet Phillips Jones, Father of Rone’ Shontrell Jones and Taylor.  Stepfather of Regine’ P. Dubose and Revon Phillips.  Son of Sharon H. Wilford (Billy Ray) ad Rolland Kenneth Jones, Sr.  Brother of Corenlius Cooper, Rolando Clark and one sister Ariane J. Ashley.  Grandson of Dellarine E. Hughes, Son-in-law of Sheila Phillips.

Rolland is also survived by four Step-grandchildren, one son-in-law, five aunts, 8 uncles, 1 sister-in-law, 3 brothers in law,1 Godchild, 8 God sisters, 3 Godbrothers, 9 nieces, 9 nephews and host of other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family, employees of RTA, Coastal Trucking and Woldenburg Village are invited to attend the Homegoing Service at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, 1738 L.B. Landry Avenue, LA.  Rev. Dr. Norman Francis (host Pastor), Rev. Kevin Roy Sr. (Officiant). In accordance with the CDC guidelines for COVID-19 all in attendance must wear a mask and practice social distancing.  Visitation at the above-named church 8:00 a.m.  until time of service.  Interment Westlawn Cemetery 1225 Whitney Avenue, Gretna, LA  70056.  Final Arrangements entrusted to Patrick H.
