Reginald Joseph Cannon, Sr. affectionately known as Turtle was born on October 12, 1965 to the late Juilius and Emelda Cannon. Reginald peacefully transitioned on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at his daughter’s home in Baton Rouge, LA. He was a native of Hahnville, LA. He leaves to cherish his precious memories with his loving children: Ryan Labranch, Brishell (Anthony)Sharper, Tiara (Chris)Williams, Reginald (Kemyra)Cannon, Jr., Casey Cannon, Micah Tellock, Kirsten Cannon, and LaCorey Cannon. In addition to his loving children, he leaves to cherish his memories with his loving siblings, Tanya (Marvin)Harris, Anthony (Genelda)Cannon, Julius Cannon, Jr., Kadoma Cannon and Roshon Cannon, Sr. He is survived by 5 grandchildren: Skye Boykins, Reginald Cannon III, Brayden Sharper, Khelani Cannon, and Jayceon White. Reginald is preceded in death by his grandparents Steven and Menolia LaGrange, Lawrence Woods, Sr. (Godfather), Jeremy Cannon(son), Thaddeus Cannon(brother), D’Juan Harris, SR. (nephew). Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He will always be remembered for the passion he had for mechanics and his motorbike, making everyone around him laugh, and his one-of-a-kind personality.
