Reggie Theresa Scott Gordon
Reggie Theresa Scott Gordon, a native and a resident of Killona, Louisiana, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at LCMC in New Orleans, Louisiana, at the age of 71.
Reggie Scott Gordon was born on August 7, 1953, to the late Ruth Louise Scott and Joseph Casey Scott, Jr. On July 10, 1976, Reggie married Norman Anthony Gordon. From this union two (2) sons were born: Tremaine Arvell and Trevell Amond. She attended Hahnville High School and was a graduate of the Class of 1972. Reggie Gordon was employed by Entergy from 1984 – 1999. She also worked for St. Charles Parish School System for many years.
Reggie loved dancing, partying and being with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth Louise Scott and Joseph Casey Scott, Jr., her husband, Norman Anthony Gordon, one sister, Barbara Ann Lockett, four (4) brothers- in-law, Claude Gordon, Jr., Roland Lockett, Milton Lockett, and Larry Gordon, mother-in-law, Louise Gordon, father-in-law, Claude Gordon, Sr., one (1) sister-in-law, Gail Favorite, one (1) Godson, Henry Strickland, and Godmother and Godfather.
Reggie leaves to cherish her memory: Two (2) sons Tremaine Arvell Gordon (LaHoya) and Trevell Amond Gordon (DáShanta), eight (8) grandchildren: Raven Bornes, Tramaine Armstrong, TyJuan Armstrong, Jared Gordon, Travon Gordon, Trenity Gordon, Asahi Gordon, and Ayven Gordon, three (3) great-grandson, Noah Armstrong, Gavin Wright, and TyLin Armstrong, one (1) great-granddaughter Riley Wright. She is also survived by two (2) siblings: Rose Lockett and Janice Petetnat (Tommy), two (2) brothers-in law, Clarence Gordon and Ferdinand Gordon (Mary), seven (7) sisters-in-law, Debra Gordon, Felicia Williams (Michael), Robin Wilson (Brent), Jacqueline Harry, Betty Nicholson, Melissa Washington (Dyrell), and Jacqueline Campbell, seven (7) Godchildren, Kendall Lockett, Trishan Lockett, Sheniks Smith, Duane Pierre, Carlee Sandolph, Kelentric Lockett and Lyntrell Petetnat, and best friend Judy Lewis.
Relatives and friends of the family, Priest and Parishioners of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and all neighboring churches are invited to the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am on Friday, December 27, 2024 at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1 Rectory Lane, Hahnville, LA 70057. Fr. Paul Clark-Celebrant. Visitation 9:00am until the time of Mass at the above-named church. Interment Holy Rosary Cemetery, Taft, LA. Final Arrangements Entrusted to Patrick H.
