Miss Nadia Treniece Brown was born on February 27, 1978, in New Orleans, Louisiana to late Sidney S. Francis, III and Beatrice Brown.
She departed this life peacefully on Sunday, October 24, 2021, in New Orleans, Louisiana at Touro Hospital. Nadia received Christ at an early age and attended church regularly with her late grandmother, Estelle Pitts, and continued to grow in her faith as an adult.
Nadia attended high school at Nicholls High School and was employed at the Superdome and Raising Cane’s. She was an excellent cook who enjoyed cooking meals for her family. She was great at designing fruit trays fit for a queen and would often be called upon by family to bring her special fruit trays, red beans, or her delicious fried chicken to family functions.
Nadia loved spending time with her family. She loved her children dearly and wanted nothing but the best for them.
She was preceded in death by her children, Beatrice Estelle, Aubrey, and Autumn Brown; her mother, Beatrice Brown; her father, Sidney S. Francis, III; Grandmothers, Estelle Pitts, and Queen Esther Mills Francis; Uncle Kenneth Francis; Aunt Linda Francis Parker; a brother, Kevin Brown; Stepsister, Joann Marie Johnson; Cousin, Deverick Francis and Sister-in-law, Dina Francis.
Nadia leaves to cherish her loving memories: her son, Ashton Sidney Brown, Sr., her daughters, Tyranae Brown, Tatianna Brown, Tommiel Muse, and Serenity Barnes; four grandchildren, Amia Brown, Ahmad Andres, Ashton Brown, Jr., and Milani Brown; significant other, Trey Forrester; two brothers, Keith Francis, Sr. and Sedwick Brown (Carmen) of Alabama; sisters, Anita F. Sanders (Ronnie) of Pineville, LA, Kala F. Mitchell (Kevin), Nicole Carr, and Dwan Francis; Uncle Terryion Pitts; Aunts Patricia F. Richardson and Bobbinel Scott of Dallas, Texas; great aunt, Lessie Mae Polk of Holt, Alabama; stepmother, Victoria Francis; one Godchild, Kenya Williams; Godparents, Charlie Brown and Rose Conley; Godbrothers, Michael and Corey Conley; God sister, Shirley Conley; best friend, Tamara Walker; Special friends: Mrs. Dora, Mrs. Bakewell, Mrs. Foster and Mrs. Alicia Brown; and a host of cousins, family and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral service on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Patrick H. Sanders Funeral Home, 605 Main Street, LaPlace, LA. 70068.
