Marion Smith

Marion “Hunter” Smith, age 68, entered eternal rest on Friday, May 20, 2022 at his residence.   Husband of Wanda Roy Smith, Beloved father of Marlon Jackson, Corey Bass, Devin Roy, Gabriel Chretien, and Artesia Roy. Son of the late Alfred D. Smith, Sr., and Marie “Doris” Smith. Brother of Nellrose Murry, Joseph A. Smith, Alfred Smith, Jr., Patricia Jones, Shelia Clayborne, Ella I’biam and Carolyn Nellon. Also survived by 5 grandchildren, Godchild Don Hickman, Jr. and a host of brothers and sisters in laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.  Marion was a certified HVAC Technician, a native of Lafayette, LA and a resident of Algiers, LA.

Relatives and friends of family, Priest and Parishioners of All Saints Catholic Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 10:00a.m. at All Saints Catholic Church, 1441 Tech Street, Algiers, LA. 70114.  Rev. Fred Kaddu S.S.J.-Officiant. Visitation at the above-named church 8:00 a.m. until time of Mass. Recitation of the most Holy Rosary at 9:00 a.m.  Final Arrangements entrusted to Patrick H.
