Lisa Washington transitioned from her earthly life on January 16, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born in New Orleans, LA on December 28, 1964, to the late Rose Mary Washington and Albert Washington, Sr. She was the nineth sibling of ten children. She shared a special bond with her family.


Lisa was educated in the St. Charles Parish School System and was a Hahnville High School graduate class of 1983. She loved sports, fishing and riding her bike. Lisa was involved with an outreach program where she was an evangelist to crippled souls. Lisa was member of New Life Fellowship in San Antonio, Texas.


Lisa leaves to mourn her two sisters; Gwendolyn Summers and Nadine Washington, five brothers; Gregory Campbell, Albert Washington, Jr., Leslie Washington, Jr., Steven Washington (Jet), Michael Washington (Mikkie), three Aunties, Edna Bridges, Brenda Louis, Leona Gullage and one uncle, Lionel Campbell. She was the dear friend of the late Melissa Downing. Lisa also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.


She was preceded in death by her parents the late Rosemary Washington and Albert Washington, Sr., her sister Donna Washington, Laureen Washington and two nephews, Demond Washington (Shorty) and Khalia Washington.


Lisa departed this life to join her parents, siblings, and friends. Absent from the body, present with the Lord. Amen


Relatives and friends of the family, Pastors, officers and members of Canaan Baptist Church and all neighboring Churches are invited to the Celebration of Life Services at 11:00am on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Canaan Baptist Church, 319 Killona Dr., Killona, LA 70057. Rev. Henry Wolfe-Pastor-Officiating. Visitation at 10:00am until the time of service at the above-named Church. Interment Killona Resthaven Cemetery, Killona, LA. Final Arrangements entrusted to Patrick H. Sanders Funeral Home & Funeral Directors, LLC. 605 Main Street, Laplace, LA 70068. 985-359-1919. “Providing Care & Comfort is Our Highest Mission.”
