Leola “Ma Ma” Diggs

September 18, 1935 – May 7, 2024

Leola Diggs transitioned from her earthly home on Tuesday, May 7, 2024.  She was born on September 18,1935 to the late Lena Boyd Diggs and Willie Diggs, Sr.  She was the mother of Joe (Janet), Joanna (Kevin Simon, Sr.), Deborah and Marty Diggs.  She was the grandmother of Latroy, Andrew, Keith, Tyrell, Jaewan Diggs, Martisha Brown, Kevin Simon, Jr., and the late Kameron Simon.  She was the sister of David (Gloria) and Rosalie Diggs, the late Willie, Jr., Andrew, Sr., Georgiana D. Williams, John, Sr. Leonard, Wilfred, Sr., Leo and Louisiana Diggs.  Godmother of Pendelton Williams, Jr. and the late Leroy Robinson.  Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.  Age, 88 and lifelong resident of Boutte, Louisiana.

Relatives and friends of the family, Pastors, Officers and Members of Mt. Airy Baptist Church are invited to a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00am, Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Mt. Airy Baptist Church, 13635 Old Spanish Trail, Boutte, LA 70039. Visitation 9:00am until time of service at the above-named church.  Interment Mt. Airy Baptist Cemetery.  Final Arrangements Entrusted to Patrick H.
