Lawrence Taylor, Jr.

1953 – 2024

Lawrence “June” Taylor Jr. passed away at the age of 71 on October 18, 2024. Lawrence was born on August 7, 1953, in New Orleans, LA to the late Shirley and Lawrence Taylor, Sr. He Graduated from Leon Godchaux High School Class of 1972 and attended Louisiana Technical College. He dedicated over 43 years of his life to Bunge Grand Elevator as a millwright. He loved fishing, basketball, Baseball, the casino, and most of all his family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, the late Shirley Taylor, Father Lawrence Taylor Sr., sisters Barbara Wilder, Irene Taylor, Paulette Taylor, Shirley Grover, Veronica Johnson, and Brother Micheal Anthony Taylor Sr.

He is survived by his wife, Ezetta Taylor, Daughters Qiana Taylor and Kiwanda (Brian) Turner, son Lawrence (Kelsey)Taylor III, Grandchildren Lauryn Taylor, Lawrence Taylor IV, Larenz Taylor, and Gianna Taylor, Sisters Geraldine Hija, Flora Taylor, Earline Cook, Walterine Breaux, and numerous Nieces and nephews. As well as family very close and dear friends and co-workers who held a very close place in his heart.

Relatives and friends of the family, Priest and Parishioners of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church and all neighboring Churches are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am on Friday, October 25, 2024, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 529 West Fifth Street, Laplace, LA 70068. Visitation 10:00am until time of Mass at the above-named church. Interment St. John Memorial Gardens, 2205 West Airline Hwy, Laplace, LA 70068. Final Arrangements Entrusted to Patrick H.
