Ladius "Mona" Jackson Patterson departed this life on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, age 66. Beloved wife of Willie Patterson. Devoted mother of Nicole (Michael) Lowe, Willie (Shannon) Jackson, Rendell (Shantel) Jackson, Draper (Rhenyta) Jackson, Keon Patterson and the late Lydell Patterson. Adopted mother of Raychelle (Jerome) Jones. Daughter of the late Marshall, Sr., and Lucy Jackson. Granddaughter of the late Beulah Courtect and Alice Gibson. Sister of Michelle Jackson, Debra (Dean) Walters, Erica Noil, Marshall Jackson, Jr., David Jackson, William Noil, Marshall Noil, Everett Carter, Dieon Charles and the late David Carter and David Noil. Daughter-in-law of the late Willie, Jr and Elizabeth Patterson. Sister-in-law of Shelia (Rev. John) Mason, Eloise Kelly, Diane Patterson, Mary Patterson, Gus Richard, and the late Jacqueline Jackson, Linda Johnson, Louetta Patterson, Dorothy Talton, Melvin Gross, Alvin Carter and Eugene Gross.  Loving Grandmother of 22 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, friends and her childhood friend Norma Jean Henry.  A Native and Lifelong resident of Algiers, LA.

Mona was known for being there for her family and friends, always having her grandchildren, cooking, listening to her music on the porch, taking rides with her husband and grandchildren also she enjoyed feeding everybody. Anytime you needed Mona she was always there with open arms, Mona will be deeply missed by all that loved her.

Landry Ave, Algiers, LA 70114.  Rev. John Mason, Officiating. Rev. Norman N. Francis, Host Pastor. Visitation will begin at 8:30am until Service Time.
