Kirk Andre Friloux
September 17, 1971- May 16, 2026
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Kirk Andre Friloux, known to many as “Qua-Z.” Kirk passed away peacefully on the 16th of May 2026 at Ochsner Medical Center, leaving a void that can never be filled. With Kirk’s departure, we remember a life lived with immense love and a constant sense of caring for all he encountered. Kirk was born on September 17, 1971, the son of the late Andrea Friloux and Rev. Dr. Gary Bolden Sr.
Kirk was the proud father of two daughters, Paris and Paige Friloux and one son, the late Bryan Jones. He leaves behind a legacy of love and loyalty.
Kirk was soft-spoken and kind-hearted, never hesitating to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His gentle spirit was infectious to those around him. He had a deep passion for motorcycles and vehicles of all kinds, and you could always find him working on something. One of his favorite pastimes was spending time at the racetrack, enjoying the thrill of a good race.
Kirk was a dedicated employee at Zachry for more than 20 years, where he built many friendships that eventually became family. He later continued his career with St. Charles Parish, where he worked faithfully for the past eight years.
Kirk leaves to cherish his memories, two daughters, Paris and Paige Friloux, his siblings, Keeva Nichols (Roger, Sr.), Kema Matthews (Jeff, Sr.), Aaron Friloux (Kimberly), Keri Odjegba (Solomon) and Gary Bolden, Jr., and his bonus brothers, Gavin Friloux, Horace Joseph, and Renaldo Friloux, cousins, Christina, Annie, and Jessie Wallace, Arielle Mondy, Jasmine and Stacey Colemen, and Mary Sandolph, aunts, Charmaine Wallace (Jesse), Elaine Mondy (Othan), Camila Coleman, Jacqueline Burrell (Lloyd) and Carolyn Bolden, uncles, Gerald, Rev. Mitchell, Jr., (Bernadette), and Darryl Bolden (Mary), God Children, Amari Woods, Chrishell Hitchens, and Ja’Luan Ballard, and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Kirk Friloux was preceded in death by his grandparents, Annie Bell and Leonard Friloux Sr, his parents, Andrea Friloux and Rev. Dr. Gary Bolden Sr., his son Bryan Jones, aunt Cynthia Friloux and uncles, Leonard Friloux and Barry Bolden.
Kirk’s earthly journey has ended, but his presence was a blessing to all who knew him. His memory will forever be cherished and remain in the hearts of those who loved him dearly.
