Kim Marie Batiste Paxton, was born October 11, 1968 in Lutcher, LA to Lionel and Loutricia Perrilloux Batiste. Kim was called to her heavenly home on March 8, 2023, at the age of 54. Kim was a 1986 graduate of Mark Keppel High School in Monterey Park, California. She also received a B.S. in Office Administration from East Los Angeles College.

Kim was a loving and devoted mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend to many. She was very outspoken, down to earth, A true Saints Fan “Forever WHO DAT.” Kim was always filled with laughter and love. She touched the lives of many. Kim was full of life and free-spirited. Her presence will truly be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Kim leaves to cherish her precious memories her parents, Lionel and Loutricia Batiste of Reserve, La. Her children Charles Paxton of Reserve, La, Miesha (Jasmine)Paxton of Baton Rouge, La, and Andrea Brown of Reserve, La. Sister Penny (Barry)Jones of Reserve, La. Grandchildren Traylin, Malayasia, Charleigh, Cali, and Chozen. Nephew Vincent (Rogerleah) Smith of Laporte, Texas and Niece Valencia Smith of League City, Texas. She also leaves a host of cousins and friends.

Kim is preceded in death by her lifelong companion Andrew Brown. Maternal Grandparents Remey and Margurite Perrilloux. Paternal Grandparents Joseph and Hilda Batiste. Aunts Cheryl Frank, and Betty Ann Sonny. Uncles Dale Perrilloux, Sr., Remy Perrilloux, Jr. and Rodrick Batiste.

Relatives and friends of the family, Pastors, Officers and Members of Tchoupitoulas Chapel and all neighboring churches are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at 11:00 am Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Tchoupitoulas Chapel, 1022 LA-44, Reserve, LA 70084.  Visitation from 9:00 am until time of service.
