Life Story of
Kim Phillip Moliere

Kim Phillip Moliere transitioned beyond this earthly world to take her eternal rest with our Lord and Savior on February 23, 2023, at the age of 54, surrounded by her loved ones.  Kim was a hard-working, independent, vibrant, witty, extremely intelligent, stylish and “the life of the party “ DIVA, in the truest since of the word.  She had an enormous heart which was evident by her outpouring display of love to all family members and friends.

Kim was educated in Jefferson Parish schools and accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age and was baptized at First Zion Baptist Church in Jefferson Parish.  Her love for God remained constant until the very end as she consistently prayed and sang her favorite gospel songs until the very end.

Kim was always an over-achiever who’s drive, and self-motivation led to a Bachelor of Arts Degree and Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Southern University, which was her passion. Although initially she contemplated a career as an attorney, she later decided to focus her career on elementary education to help steer young minds on the correct path at an early stage.  Kim completed the required Louisiana State Teaching Credentials and began a nearly two decade career as a Elementary School Educator in Laplace, LA. Kim taught Math and Science to numerous grades and became a favorite amongst students and teachers alike. Her persistence for excellence has reaped rewards such as Teacher of The Year and Outstanding Standardized Test Scores from teaching 3rd and 4th graders.

Kim gave birth to her only child, Hebert J. Benjamin on August 28, 1987 who was her pride and joy!  On June 15, 2006, Kim would marry the love of her life and soulmate, Lincoy Moliere. She was born on, September 1, 1968 the third child of the late Custis S, Watts and the late Marie Louise Phillip.  Kim was preceded in death by her Father-in-Law, Poston Moliere, Mother -In-Laws, Eva Moliere and Bernadette Drysdale, Sister-in-Law Evette Washington and her nephew Byron Phillip.   Kim is survived by her husband, Lincoy Moliere, one son, Herbert (Marlon) Benjamin, four sisters, Rosalind Phillip, Racheal Baldwin, Karen Phillip, Trina Phillip, one brother, David (Maxine) Pittman, four cousins, Timmy Thomas, Renita Royal, Rene Phillips, Kevin Phillips, five  nephews, Anthony Baldwin Jr., Demarko Baldwin, Tye Phillip, David Pittman Jr, Jairus Pittman, four Nieces, Adde-Lisa Baldwin, Hallyelle Phillip, Katrina Phillip, Ashley Pittman,  two Aunts, Betty Thomas, Ruby Phillips, two Uncles, Warren (Martha) Phillips, Robert (Diane) Phillips, two Brother-In-Laws, Burnell (Lydia) Moliere, Theodis Moliere, three Sister -In-Laws, Sherridel (Tommie) Rising, Jewana (Eric) LeBeaux, Ardonia (Terrance) Levy , eight stepchildren, Lincoy Moliere Jr., Steven Moliere, Nicholas Moliere, Anthony Walker, Dominique Simmons, Kewshaun Matthieu, Damien Armstrong Lincoya Maze, and a host of a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
