Kevin Joseph Scott

1961 - 2024

Kevin Joseph Scott, affectionately known as Jump, passed away on Wednesday, May 15th, 2024 at the age of 62. Kevin was born in New Orleans on November 10th, 1961. He was a native of Taft, LA and resident of Hahnville, LA and a carpenter by trade. Kevin graduated from Hahnville High School and attended The University of New Orleans. He was the son of Mary Scott, and the brother of Carl Meyers (Shelita), Tuesday Hills, and Christopher Stipe (Danielle). Kevin is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and devoted friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Willie and Marie Scott, and siblings Renette Scott and Darrell Meyers.

Relatives, friends of the family, Priest and parishioners of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, #1 Rectory Lane, Hahnville, LA, on Wednesday, May 29th, 2024. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, and the Funeral Mass will commence at 11:00 am. Interment at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church Cemetery, River Road, Taft, LA.
