A Glimpse at a life...
Keiosha ~NuNu~ Alexander
Sometimes a life briefly crosses others and makes a long-lasting impression. This was such a life.
On September 9, 2023, Keiosha Monique Alexander departed her earthly life in Ft. Worth, TX. Keiosha Monique Alexander, affectionately known to her family and friends as "NuNu,” Kemoo, or KeeKee". She was born to Eugenie Mary Alexander and the late Keith Selders on August 3, 1988. Keiosha was baptized at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Reserve, Louisiana, where she made her First Communion. Keosha served as altar server at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for many years. Her early education began at Our Lady of Grace Catholic School in Reserve, LA, and continued at Crenshaw High School in California. Keiosha’s studies continued at ITT Technical Institute, where she pursued her passion in Computer Programming. Keiosha was a prolific writer, artist illustrator and a profound tattoo artist. We have discovered so much of Keisha’s artwork and writing in the past few days. We were not surprised to find that most of her writings were between she and God, proving Her love and admiration for Him. Our NuNu was always an affectionate and happy person. Her infectious smile was sure to be displayed in any room, she felt her love could flourish. Wherever Kemoo went, she carried a joyous love within. She was good for making us laugh while she kept a straight face. Then laugh at us for being so gullible. Not short of her joining the laughter and creating more jokes to keep the laughter flowing. It was the worst in school! I swear NuNu would have you looking like you were to blame for the loudest outburst of laughter at the most inopportune times! She had surely said something under her breath to cause it and never got in trouble. Not sweet KeeKee. Besides, there is no harm in causing others to smile. KeeKee was such a bundle of love. She had so many attainable hopes for the future and will hold a forever embedded love in the hearts of many. Keiosha was a kind and caring person from an early age. Every child she met as an adult loved to be around her! Some of those same kids have visited her home looking for her to this day. We are a little more broken each time we have to tell those bright eyed and excited sweet babies, she has a new home now. It is hard to explain to those eyes of wonder, “Hold on to the memories you’ve shared, speak of her often and smile with her love in your hearts.” For we know she is surely smiling with them. Keiosha leaves to cherish her memory, her mother: Eugenie Mary Alexander, her loving siblings Duane “Dirty Red” Alexander, Jessica, Ashley, Gregory Jr., Jeremiah, and Mercedes Stewart of California. Kellie Kliebert, Kendra Bovie, Michael Pitman, and Roderick “Rock” Placide of Reserve, LA., and L. Johnson.
Keiosha is proceeded in death by her beloved father, Keith Selders and stepfather, Greg “Crazy Daddy” Stewart Sr., her maternal grandparents, Norman and Laura Alexander and paternal grandparents, Wilbert and Laura Selders, Aunt, Gwendolyn “T. Gwen” Alexander; and cousin, Shemar “Mardy” Alexander.
