Kasey Christopher Egbi transitioned  from his earthly life on Sunday, August 25,2024 in New Iberia, LA. Kasey born on October 2, 1987, in New Orleans, Louisiana, was the beloved son of the late Pamela Marie Sanders-Ekere, of LaPlace, LA, and William "Bill" Egbi, of New Orleans, LA. He spent his formative years between Atlanta, GA, and New Orleans, LA, and graduated from Marietta High School in Marietta, GA. In 2008, Kasey proudly enlisted in the United States Army, serving his country with honor.

Upon returning from a tour in Afghanistan in 2009, Kasey met his wife Ebony Cobbs, and they were married on August 13, 2010. At the time of his passing, Kasey resided in New Iberia, Louisiana.

Kasey was a devoted family man and an exceptional father to his seven children: Adashia Selmon, Essence Egbi, Zhuri Egbi, Kasey Egbi Jr., Emone Roberson, Eloni Cobbs, and Emerald Cobbs. He cherished every moment spent with his family and friends, always striving to create lasting memories.

Kasey leaves behind his wife, Ebony Cobbs Egbi; cherished children; 3 sisters - Kimberly Bryant (Dmitri); Kiley Hall (Brandon), and Eloho Christie Egbi; 3 brothers - Steven Christopher Egbi, Moses Christopher Egbi, and Onataze Christoper Egbi; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends who will forever hold his memory dear.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services on Friday, September 13, 2024, at 8:00 am at Patrick H. Sanders Funeral Home, 605 Main Street, LaPlace, LA 70068. Interment will follow at 10:00 AM at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 3488 Grantham College Drive, Slidell, Louisiana 70460.  Final Arrangements Entrusted to Patrick H.
