Joann Johnson transitioned from her earthly life on Friday, March 15, 2024, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Baton Rouge, LA. She was the daughter of the late Ernest and Odetta Gardener Johnson. Mother of Kinley Keller and Kameron Johnson. Sister of Yolanda Johnson Mason and the late Sharon Johnson. She was the grandmother of Kaylee Keller and Kaya Keller. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins’ other relatives and friends.

Joann was a native of Reserve (Lions), LA and a resident of Garyville, LA., age 62.

Relatives and friends of the family, employees of St. James Hospital and members of Mt. Zion #1-Rev. Kent Frederick, Garyville, LA. are invited to a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 2:00pm at PBS Hall, 566 Northern Street, Garyville, LA  70051. Interment Private.
