Jernell James Gautier

Jernell Johne’ James Gautier, a native and resident of St. Rose, LA, transition from her earthly life, at East Jefferson General Hospital on Monday, March 3, 2025, at the age of 49.

Daughter of Harding H. James and the late Lillie Mae Brooks James. Wife of the late Stephen Gautier. Mother of Jai’Brian Gautier and grandmother of Chase Banks. Sister of Michelle James Claborn (Jarvis), Tracey James Everson, and the late Rene Denise James. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Relatives, friends, pastors, officers and members of Mount Zion Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at 11:00am on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Mount Zion Baptist Church, 100 Second Street, St. Rose, LA.  Rev. Freddie Dixson Sr., Pastor - Officiating. Interment Jefferson Memorial Gardens, 11316 River Road, St. Rose, LA. Visitation at above named church from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
