Jamaine Lamone Williams

Jamaine Lamone Williams, Sr. was born on July 8, 1975, to Enola Downing and the late Lionel Lewis. He departed this life on March 24, 2022, at UMC in New Orleans, LA. He was the loving father of Landon Oubre, Jamaine, Jr. & Jamonte Williams, Jamyren Richards and JaKai Davis. Grandfather of Jordan Kai Williams and Jayren Richards. A loving sibling to Kendall Williams (Tashina), Lionel and Traman Howard, Charles Dowing, Jr., Leslie Williams (Dequin) and Angelic Downing. Godchildren Tashawn Cannon, Brodrick McKinnis and Shaquota Broughton. He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized by the late Rev. James Powell, Sr. He attended Hahnville High School in Paradise, LA. He was self-employed and a jack of all trades, but being a mechanic was his passion. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Lacy Williams, mother Enola Downing, mother-in-law Diane K. Middleton (Steve), 4 sons and 2 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.  Devoted friends Nathaniel Evans, the late Ernest Green, Jr., Derrick Scott, and Earl Scott.

Relatives and friends of the family, Pastors, Officers, and members of Canaan Baptist Church are invited to attend the Celebration of Life on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at 11:00 am, Canaan Baptist Church, 319 Killona Drive, Killona, LA. Rev. Henry Wolfe-Pastor/Officiant. All in attendance must adhere to the CDC guidelines for COVID-19 and practice social distancing. Visitation at the above-named Church 9:00 am until time of service.
