Jai’coven Donzelle Johnson

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved, Jai’coven Donzelle Johnson on Monday, April 21, 2025, age 32. He was affectionately called “Mankind/Coby" by those who knew and loved him. He was born on July 10, 1992, to Tenecia and Eric Johnson. He was the husband of Elizabeth Minor Johnson and father of Georgia Bernard, Victory Johnson, and Hero Johnson. Jai’coven was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and nephew. Jai’coven had a deep love for family and a passion for boxing, football and helping others. His big dream was to become a professional boxer one day and he was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan. He was known for making sure everyone he knew was safe and loved sharing his faith. He is survived by his parents, wife, children, brother, nephew, uncles, aunts, cousins, and a host of friends.
Relatives and friends of the family, Pastors, Officers and Members of New Zion Christian Center and all neighboring Churches are invited to the Celebration of Life Services at 11:00am on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at New Zion Christian Center, 216 W. Main Street, Gramercy, LA 70052. Elder Emil Dean Mitchell, Pastor-Officiant. Visitation 9:00am until 11:00am at the above-named Church.
