Isaac W. Howard, Jr. affectionately known as “Pa” departed this life on June 25, 2022 at age 72. He was a native of Des Allemands, LA. He was born on January 28, 1950 to Isaac W. Howard, Sr., and Lessie Scott Young. He married Bernadine Howard and to this union are his sons Bryan (Daphne) Howard, Justin, and Trumaine Howard, and one daughter, Tanisha (Casey) Howard Hester. He was the brother of Floyd (Linda) Howard, Beverly Howard, stepsiblings, Ronnie (Theresa) Howard, Joshua Young, Sr. and Gwen Mitchell.

He preceded in death by his parents Lessie Scott Young and Isaac W. Howard Sr., stepfather Earl Young, Sr., siblings Joseph Chapman, Theresa (Ernest) Howard Polly, Carolyn Howard Turner and Betsy Hall; brother-in-law Donald Young, Sr., sister-in-law Linda Young, niece, Laisha Turner Roberson and nephew Corey Polly.

He also leaves to cherish his memories 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, a host of cousins and friends. 

Relatives and friend of the family, Pastors, Officers, and Members of Antioch Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to a Celebration of Life on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, 11:00 am at Antioch Baptist Church, 16423 Old Spanish Trail, Des Allemands, LA  70030. In accordance with the CDC guidelines for COVID-19 mask are suggested for all in attendance. Visitation 10:00 am at the above-named church until time of service.
