Huey P. Madison, Sr., departed this life on Monday Dec. 13, 2021, in Katy, TX. Beloved husband of the late Doris Henry Madison. Devoted father of April M. (Darren, Sr) Anderson, Andrea M. (Ephraim, Sr) Opara, Huey, II (Taras), Rachelle, Christy (Jason), Ashley, Huey, Jr. (Shelly), and Cheryl Madison, Lethia Haynes, James Holmes and the late Christopher Madison, Sr. Grandfather of the late Adara Anderson. Son of the late David, Sr., and Hazel Madison. Brother of Ollie Addison, Addie, Franklin Earl, Sr., Herman (Julie), Willie, Sr., (Carol), and the late Jeff, William, David, Jr., and Robert Madison, Thelma Stout, Julia (Willie, Sr) Bosworth, Katherine (Percy) Harris and Annie (Charles) Hooker. Son-in-law of the late Clarence, Sr., and Ernestine Henry. Brother-in-law of Ernestine (late Dood, Jr.) Johnson, Clarence "Frogman", Jr., and John Henry and the late Lizzie (Hammond, Sr) Charles, Corrine Brossard, and Queen Esther Madison.  Also survived by 37 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also Pastors, Officers and Members of Second Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend Funeral Services on Monday December 20, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Second Baptist Church 2836 Sullen Place, Algiers, LA. In accordance with the CDC guidelines for COVID-19 all in attendance must wear a mask and practice social distancing. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
