Hester Marie Banks, at the age of 70, died on Monday, March 24, 2025, in LaPlace, La. Daughter of The late Laura Creecy Alexander and the late Norman Alexander. Hester was the wife of the late Warren Reed Banks and the Mother of Ormond Banks, Tronda (Adrian) Crier and Crystal Alexander. Sister of Edwrine "Rene" Alexander, Brian Alexander, Alton Alexander, Sr., Durel Alexander and Eugenie "Genie" Alexander and the late Gwendolyn Alexander. A devoted Nephew Juan Alexander. Grandmother of TaiJanae and KaiRanae Crier, the late Adrian L Crier Jr., Lauriel Jarrow and Cash Alexander. Great Grandmother of Adrian D Crier and Cash Alexander, Jr. Also, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. A native and resident of Reserve, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family, also priest and parishioners of St. Joan of  Arc Catholic Church and all neighboring Churches are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 529 W. 5th St, LaPlace, LA at 12:00pm on Friday, April 11, 2025. Very Rev. David Ducote, V.F. -Celebrant.  Visitation at the above-named Church from 10:00am until time of Mass.  Interment Private.  Final Arrangements Entrusted to Patrick H.
