Henry was baptized at an early age by the late Rev. John B. Davis, Jr. of Children of Israel Baptist Church in Killona, LA.
Affectionately known as “Bibby” to friends and “Hook” to the family. Henry worked on the pipeline as a painter traveling to different states for many years. Henry loved the lord with all of his heart, mind, and soul. He received his Bible Study Certification on September 18, 1998. After receiving his certification, he started teaching his children about the word of God. Henry conducted Bible class with his children on Sundays. Wednesdays and Fridays at his daughter’s houses and a glorious time was had. Henry enjoyed talking about the lord with anyone he came in contact with. He spent his time helping family and friends in the community in any way that he could. If you knew Henry, then you knew you were surely in for a good laugh. His favorite quote was “Too hip to trip and too cold to get old!” Henry loved his children, but Henry loved his bike “Bubbles” even more.
