Hilton” Bolo” Barney, Jr. passed away Wednesday October 6, 2021. Son of the late Hilton “Ball” Barney and Elva Henry Barney. Wife of the late Augusta Lorraine Barney. Father of Evelyn Barney, Augusta, Lawrence, Elston and Lorretta. Brother of the late Clarence, Lawrence, and Rosie Barney. Loving cousin of Mercedes Bourgeois, Hilda Carter, Rev. Bernette Dickerson and the late Barbara Murray. Age 89 and a native of LaPlace, LA. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other cousins, relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, Pastor, officers, and members of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, LaPlace, LA., are invited to the funeral service on Friday October 15, 2021 at 11:00a.m., Rev. Freddie Howard, Officiant at the Patrick H. Sanders Funeral Home, 605 Main Street, LaPlace, LA. In accordance with CDC guidelines for COVID-19 all in attendance must wear a mask and practice social distancing. Visitation at 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the above named funeral home.  Interment will be private.   Final arrangements entrusted to Patrick H. Sanders Funeral Home & Funeral Directors, Inc.
