Geore' "Tank" Hankton, a freshman at Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 20, 2023 at the age of 19. Beloved son of Aurelia Sentmore and the late George Hankton, III. Brother of Tyrone and Tyler Casby, Gebore' Hankton, Karlie Sentmore, Jacorey LeBlanc, Denise Flippin, Jivanni E., Gierra, George IV and Giovonni Hankton. Grandson of Leo and Hatie Sentmore, Andrea E. Hankton, George Hankton, Jr., Big Chief Tyrone Casby, Sr. and Lesa Casby. Also a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
"Tank" as he was affectionately called by family and friends was a Class of 2022 graduate of Edna Karr High School and a current freshman at Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge pursuing a degree in Engineering. He was a native of Gretna, LA and a lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA.
"Tank" was a Spy Boy for the Mohawk Hunters Mardi Gras Indian Tribe of Algiers, LA where he had been masking as an Indian alongside his grandfather since the tender age of 4 years old.

Father John Talamo, Celebrant. Visitation from 9:30AM until 10:50AM . Interment in Restlawn Cemetery Avondale, LA.
