Gary “Old Man” Millet

September 11, 1963 – June 2, 2025

Gary “Old Man” Millet peacefully transitioned from his earthly life on Monday, June 2, 2025, at his home surrounded by family. He was born on September 11, 1963, to the late Alfred Francois and Augustine Millet Dennis. He was a beloved resident of Laplace, LA, age 62.

Gary bought immeasurable joy and light into our lives with his kind heart and radiant smile. Gary was the loving husband of Marie Millet and a devoted father to his children Gabrielle Millet, Essence Roberston and Melton Joseph. He was also the devoted brother of his surviving sisters Dianne Jackson and Adaline Turner.

He was preceded in death by his parents the late Alfred Francois and Augustine Millet Dennis, his sisters Marion and Barbara Dennis.

Relatives and friends of the family, pastors, officers and members of Milesville Memorial Church of God in Christ and all neighboring Churches are invited to the Celebration of Life Services at 11:00am on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Milesville Memorial Church of God in Christ, 129 Apple Street, Laplace, LA 70068.  Bishop Ronald Frank-Host Pastor and Rev.
