Eric Michael Gauff, Sr. passed on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at Brooke Army Medical Center, San Antonio, Texas. He was surrounded and supported by his loving family. He was the son of the late Joyce Telfair Gauff Lewis and Larry Gauff, Sr., Beloved husband of Gaynell Perrilloux Gauff, loving father of Eric, Jr., Jacoby, and Jaquan Gauff.  He was the brother of Deborah, Ledenia, Lenord, Yolando Gauff, Kim (Dwayne)Mason, Deatrice (Wyles) Zeno, Reynaldo (LaQutta) Lewis, Raven, and Timothy Lewis.  He was the brother-in-law of Monica Gray, Raynell Perrilloux, Claudette Edwards, Elroy (Linda) Perrilloux, Kenneth (Yvette) Perrilloux, Sherman (Lynette) Fobb, Dorlisa Fobb, Rico (Teneka) Fobb and Aisha (Rondell) Mealey. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. 

A native of Garyville, LA and a resident of San Antonio, Tx. Eric was a Class of 1982 graduate of East St. John High School. He was a retired Master Sergeant of the United States Army with 25 dedicated years of service.

Relatives and friends of the family, Priest and Parishioners of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 772 LA-44, Reserve, LA  70084. Visitation 8:00am until time of service at the above-named church. Interment St. John Memorial Gardens, 2205 W. Airline Hwy, Laplace, LA  70068.  There will also be a public visitation from 4:00pm to 6:00pm, on Friday, October 28, 2022 at the Patrick H.
