Elaine Wilson Lumar

On March 29, 2022, Elaine Wilson Lumar, a lifelong resident of St. Charles Parish, LA., passed away at the age of 70.

Elaine was blessed with a large and loving family. She had a passion for life and always enjoyed an adventure. Her children were her pride and joy.

Elaine is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Charles Joseph Lumar; children, Alana Lumar and Charles Lumar II (Michelle); sisters, Rosalie Brown (Willie), Ophelia Walker, and Donna Meeks; brother, Charlie Wilson, Jr. (Sheila); and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends who she loved dearly.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, Cecelia LaBranche and Charlie Wilson, Sr.  and siblings, Oliver Smith, James Wilson, Harry Wilson, Ralph Wilson, and Vera Jackson.

Elaine will be deeply missed by all those who had the privilege to know her and love her.

Relatives and friends of the family, Pastors, Officers, and Members of The Historic Bethlehem Baptist Church are invited to attend the Celebration of Life on Saturday, April 2, 2022, 11:00 am at The Historic Bethlehem Baptist Church, 14989 River Rd, Hahnville, LA  70057. Rev. Rodney Johnson-Pastor-Officiant. Everyone in attendance must adhere to the CDC guidelines for COVID-19. Visitation at the above-named church 9:00 am until time of service.
