Douglas Anderson, Jr., President & CEO of Anderson Construction, LLC went home to be with the Lord on Monday November 17, 2025. Beloved Husband of Susan Gilbert Anderson. Devoted Father of Trenise A. (Kerry, Sr.) Spears, Denise A. (Kenneth) McMillian, Alana, Rolanda, Tessa, Chassidy and Douglas, III (Crystal) Anderson and the late Caprice Anderson. Loving Grandfather of Michael, Damien, Chaurice, Joshua, Jaronay, Bria, Kevin, Jr., Kameron, Kamal, Hyran, Kinnidy, KayLynn, Demin, Charm, Rylee and the late Kerry, Jr. Great Grandfather of Shai and J’aire. Son of the late Douglas, Sr., and Albertha Ruffin Anderson. Brother of Alcide, Calvin, Herbert (Trudy) and Bobby Anderson the late Charles Wilson. Godfather of Devani, Jammon and Vernell. Grandson of the late Phillip, Sr and Theresa Anderson, Henry, Sr., and Josephine Felo Ruffin.  Nephew of Viola and Alberta Ruffin. Brother-in-law of Sandra (Larry) Tyson, Veronica (Ron) Ward, Craig Stevenson, Steve Turner and the late Rev. Elizabeth Turner and Janice Johnson. Also survived by four devoted cousins Donald Baldwin, Anthony Richard, Rev. David Richard and Larry Anderson. Two devoted friends, Michael Mosley and Lionel Garrison, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age 74. A native and resident of Algiers, LA.

Rev. Brian Richardson, Pastor and Rev. David Richard, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:00am at the above-named Church.   Interment in St. Joseph Baptist Church Cemetery Algiers, LA. Final Arrangements entrusted to Patrick H.
