Dorthy Lee Fobb Moore (Dee Dee) transitioned from her earthly home on Friday, June 28, 2024, at Baptist Medical Center, Jackson, MS. Dorthy was born on April 30, 1949 to the late Herbert Fobb, Sr. and Azelia Watkins. She was the wife of the late James Louis Moore and mother of Viva Moore of Jackson, MS, Angela Moore of Laplace, LA, and the late James Kirk Moore. She was the sister of Herbert Fobb, Jr., and the late Barbara Lassere, Cheryl Fobb, Allen Fobb, and Ronald Fobb. Grandmother of Eli Moore, DeAngelo Moore and Angel Robertson. She was the niece of Nellie Farlough, Joyce Taylor, and Shirley Millet. Dorthy is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins’ other relatives and friends. A native and resident of Laplace, LA, age 75.

Relatives and friends of the family, also Pastors, Officers and Members of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Services at 11:00am on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Mt.
