Donna Jean Jackson departed this life on Thursday, November 28, 2024, age 78. Donna was born to the parents of Clarence and Daisy Charles. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Rogers “Raymond” Jackson. She is the mother of Garen Jackson of Gramercy, LA and Leo “Michael” Perkins of San Antonio, Texas; Stepmother to Resean Darrius Wells of Shreveport, LA and Dexter Jones of Kenner, LA; Sister of Linda Clayton of Gramercy, LA and brother, Bernell Charles of Reserve, LA. She is grandmother to Garren Jackson and Kashton Jackson and godmother to Jennifer Sylve. She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Sedonia Melancon and Grandfather, Oliver Melancon; Parents, Clarence and Daisy Charles, Sisters; Marie Johnson and Janice Jackson; Brother, Warren Eugene; Brother-in-law, Leo Johnson; Niece, Toy Foster and Nephew, Harold Farlough.

Relatives and friends of the family, Priest and Parishioners of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:45 am on Friday, December 6, 2024, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 529 W. 5th Street, Laplace, LA 70068.  Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary at 10:15am.
