Diane Marie Clivens
July 9, 1950 – December 27, 2025
Diane Marie Clivens entered eternal rest on December 27, 2025. She was born on July 9, 1950, to the late Melvin Clivens and Antoinette Dorsey Clivens. Diane was the sister of Melva Laura Ann Shelton (Larry James, Sr.), Kevin G. Clivens (Demaries), Andrea “Angie” C. Barnes (Arnold) Deidra C. Davis (Lloyd), Celeste C. Williams, Renwick H. Clivens (Lorraine), Kathleen C. Marigney (Bruce, Sr.), Terryl C. Smith (Matthew, III), the late Melvin Clivens and Andrew R. Clivens.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her eight siblings, her aunt Carolyn Journee; cousins the late Andrew Rogers (Angel), Ligette Rogers and Tyesia and Tobias Shelton. Her stepmother Audrey Clivens Barnes. Diane also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family extends a special thanks to her caretakers; Nicole McClaleb, Michele Lafrance, Kailyn Williams, Angel Rogers, Ms. Vanessa at Quality Healthcare and the employees of Compassus Hospice and family friends/Caretakers; Carolyn Miller, Shelia Williams and the late Diane Franklin
Relatives and friends of the family, Priest and parishioners of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church and all neighboring Churches are invited to the Funeral Mass at 10:00am on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 455 Ames Blvd, Marrero, LA 70072. Rev. Sidney O. Speaks, III-Celebrant. Visitation from 8:00am until 9:45am at the above-named Church. Interment will be private. Final Arrangements entrusted to Patrick H.
