Desiree Halain Nash

1967 - 2026

Desiree H. Nash was born on July 29, 1967, to the late Catherine Harris Nash and Wilfred Nash, Jr.  She departed this life on February 4, 2026.

Desiree attended Mt. Airy Baptist Church as a child in Boutte, LA.

She was the sister of; Anita Nash Jarrow (Andre), Trina Nash Jackson (Bryant), Elton Ingram (Shona).  Godparents; Odile Harris and Charlie Clemons.

Desiree was preceded in death by her parents Catherine Harris Nash, Wilfred Nash, Jr. Grandmothers Martha Sumlin, Estella Nash, Uncle Herbert Nash, Aunts; Louisa and Edwina Sumlin, Betsy Turner, brother Randal Nash and nephew Timone Nash.

Relatives and friends of the family, Pastors, officers and members of Fresh Faith Worship Center and all neighboring Churches are invited to the Celebration of Life Services at 11:00am on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Fresh Faith Worship Center, 1114 E. Harding Street, New Sarpy, LA 70047.  Bishop Otis Kenner, II-Pastor-Officiating.  Visitation 9:00am until the time of service at the above-named Church.  Interment Mt. Zion Garden of Memories, Paul Maillard Rd, Boutte, LA 70039.  Final Arrangements entrusted to Patrick H.
