Darrell Anthony Triche, Sr.

Darrell Anthony Triche, Sr. affectionately known as " Speedy," was born on December 13, 1949, in New Orleans to the late Earl Triche, Sr. and Velma Gross Triche. Darrell was called home on Saturday, July 22, 2023. He was a lifelong resident of Ama. He attended George Washington Carver High School. Darrell was formerly married to Gloria Sandolph Triche. To this union, one beloved son was born Darrell Anthony Triche, Jr. Darrell loved horses, hunting, and running track and field in his early years. He leaves to cherish his memories his brothers: Earl, Jr. (Wanda), Gregory (Hilda), Bernard, Ronald, Kenneth Triche and Brian Triche, his twin sister: Diane Triche, a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents: Earl Triche, Sr. and Velma Gross Triche, one sister Pamela Triche Clark, and his son Darrell Anthony Triche, Jr. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at the Friloux- Robinson American Legion Post #509 Hall 10803 River Road Ama, LA 70031 at 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm.
