Da'Quan Mi'Chael Frank Alpha: March 6, 1997--Omega: January 6, 2023
Da'Quan Mi'Chael Frank departed his earthly life on Friday, January 6, 2023, age 25. Da’Quan was born on March 6, 1997 in Jefferson, Louisiana to Monica Frank and Quentin Nicholas. He was a lifelong resident of Reserve, Louisiana. From a young child, Da’Quan was a determined individual. He was not afraid to try different adventures. For him, he was hands-on and no instructions were needed. He was the one that would “figure it out”. He put his heart and soul into athletics. He participated in Little League football (F.O.R.C.E. Football) and AAU Track (River Parish Hornets).
Da’Quan completed his elementary and secondary education within the St. John Parish Public School System. He was a student athlete at both Fifth Ward and West St. John High. He was a 2016 graduate of West St. John High School. He made the decision to attend Diesel Trucking Academy to obtain his CDL.
With so many memories to be cherished by all, Da’Quan is survived by his parents, Monica and Quentin; daughter (apple of his eye) – Za’Riyah; siblings – Jarrion, Chyna, Orlando Sr, Quentien, Sr. (Kyra); bonus siblings Montronique, and Troyneisha; grandparents- Lois Frank, Cheryl Moss, and Ronald Nichola, Sr. (Odrie); aunts and uncles – Kyron Sr (Velissa) and Kirk Frank, Ronal, Jr. (Chalander) and Myron Nicholas Sr, Damien Johnson, Aqunia (Korman) Davis; great aunts and uncles – Indria, Diane, and Wayne Perrilloux, Marilyn Scott, Linda (Overton) Ross, Sr., Leroy (Pamela) Frank, Brenda Lee, Rose (Anthony) Johnson, Brenda Nicholas, Carol, Leroy Jr (Terri) and Harold Sr (Gloria) Williams, Irvin Nicholas, Jr.; bonus aunts and uncles – Renata Lumar, Valencia Haley, the Kindrick family, Dermisha and Mervin Williams, Jr., Laura and Alex Cook; Godparents – Lanika Frank and Daniel Francois; a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
Awaiting Da’Quan once he arrived in heaven were his grandfathers – Welman Frank and Curtis Moss, Sr.; great-grandparents – Margaret and Anderson Perrilloux, Sr., Mary Louise and Sammy Frank, Jr., Hilda and Leroy Williams, Sr., Caldonia and Irvin Nicholas, Sr.; a multitude of great-aunts and uncles, a host of cousins and other family members.
Relative and friends of the family, employees of Moon’s Towing Service, St. John Parish Council, St. John Parish Sheriff’s Office and 40th Judicial District Court, Pastors, Officers and Members of Mt. Zion Baptist Church #1 and all neighboring churches are invited to the Celebration of Life on Saturday January 21, 2023, 11:00 am at New Wine Christian Fellowship, 1929 W Airline Highway, Laplace, Louisiana 70068. Pastor Kent B. Fredericks, Sr. – Officiant. Pastor Neil Bernard-Host Pastor. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am until service time. There will also be a public visitation on Friday, January 20, 2023 from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Our Lady of Grace Roman Catholic Church, 780 Highway 44, Reserve, LA 70084.
