Curtis Jerry "Kool Daddy" Wilson

Curtis Jerry “Kool Daddy” Wilson peacefully transitioned on Sunday November 7, 2021, at Ochsner Medical Center-Kenner, LA. Son of the late Florence Miller Wilson and Raymond Wilson. Husband of the late Claudette Woods Wilson. Father of Phoebe Wilson, Gregory Wilson (Roxanne) and the Arlissa (Stanley) London and Acqunetta Wilson and the late Chauvell Wilson.

Brother of Aaron (Nadine) Wilson, Sr., Elton (Dorothy) Wilson and the late Oveder  Joseph, Shirley Mae Randall, Vernin Wilson and Olevia Mae Batiste. He had 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He is the brother-in-law of Walter Wood, Charlie and Danna Cammon, James, Perry and Clinton Lawrence and the late Edward Lawrence. He is preceded in death by his wife Claudette Wilson, his parents; Florence and Raymond Wilson, his siblings; Oveder W. Joseph, Shirley Mae Randall, Olevia Mae Baptist and Vernin Wilson. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. A native and resident of Boutte, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family, Pastors, Officers and member of Mt. Airy Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend funeral service on Monday, November 15, 2021, at Mt. Airy Baptist Church 13635 Old Spanish Trail, Boutte, LA  70039 at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Clyde Staes-Pastor-Officiant. In accordance with the CDC guidelines for COVID-19 all in attendance must wear mask and practice social distancing. Visitation at the above-named church at 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
