Conrad Javon Jones

1980 - 2024

On Thursday, May 9, 2024, Conrad “Bubba” Jones heard the voice of the Lord and was called home to his eternal rest.  Conrad Javon Jones was born on May 9, 1980 to Larry and Paula Mae Jones. Conrad was baptized at an early age at Beech Grove Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend Westley Anderson, Sr. 

Conrad was educated in the St. John the Baptist Parish Public School System.  He was employed as a trucker driver for several trucking companies.

 Conrad leaves to cherish his precious memories his parents, Larry and Paula Mae Jones, his children, Ah’Nija, Kejuane, Essence, Ja”Hyi, Pryce, and Sarai; Sibling, Amanda (Mike) Green, Larry (Trinette) Jones, Jr., Lathaniel (Valencia) Jones, Aleta Jones, Chad (Atasha) Jones and Brad Jones;  A devoted friend Javion Masson: four bonus children, Javion, Jordyn, Jor’dai, and Jor’daz; God Parents, Catherine Becnel and Barry Bartley; and a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins and other family friends.

Waiting at Heaven’s Gate to welcome him home are his grandparents Josephine and Wilson Jones, Sr. and Irene and Isaac Franklin, Sr.

Relatives and friends of the family, Pastors, Officers and Members of Antioch Community Baptist Church and Rescue Mission Baptist Church are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00am on Friday, May 31, 2024 at Antioch Community Baptist Church, 10862 LA-3125, 70071.  Visitation 9:00am until time of service at the above-named church.  Interment St. John Memorial Gardens, 2205 W.
