Charles John Ingram, 70 years, son of the late Horace Ingram Sr., and Edna McCoy Ingram was born March 19, 1955, in New Orleans and was a resident of Boutte, Louisiana. He was called peacefully to eternal rest by the Lord at 5:15 PM on February 16, 2026, at Ochsner Main Campus.
He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized in faith by Pastor John Dorsey at Mt. Airy Baptist Church. He was always a strong, hardworking, smart and kind-hearted man who would always joke, clown, cook and loves spending time with his family as well as hanging out with many of his friends. He also enjoys riding on his bike and talking about many stories especially about his love for turtles.
He was preceded in death by his late parents, Edna McCoy Ingram and Horace Ingram Sr., and two brothers Horace Ingram Jr., Donald Ingram, aunts, uncles and other relatives.
He leaves to cherish his memories one sister, Dianne Ingram, one brother, Bruce Ingram Sr. (Monica), one Uncle John Manuel Jr., three aunts, Dorothy Ingram, Maudie McCoy, Barbara Manuel, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to the Celebration of Life Services at 11:00am on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at the Patrick H. Sanders Funeral home, 605 Main Street, Laplace, LA 70068. Visitation 10:00am until the time of service at the above-named location. Interment St. Mary Cemetery, Paul Maillard Rd, Boutte, LA 70039.
