Charles Brown

October 5, 1950 – May 24, 2025

Charles Brown, age 74, entered into rest on Saturday, May 24, 2025. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He was born to Earline Brown and was a native of Boutte, LA. He was baptized at an early age at Mount Airy Baptist Church, Boutte, LA. He was a long-time employee of St. Charles Parish Council until he retired in December 2021.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Mary, Three children; Albert, Nicole and Christopher, Sr., four bonus children; Donica, Paul, Jr., Kishandra and Kimberly. Twenty-two grandchildren, one sister Gertrude, two godchildren Sidmekia and Kayden. He also leaves a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by Earline and Amelia Brown, Myrna Johnson-Brown, Charles Brown, Jr., Dai’Meion Brown, Deloris Taylor, Ophelia Brown, and Sophia Brown.

Relatives and friends of the family, pastors, officers and members of Mount Airy Baptist Church and all neighboring Churches, also employees and former employees of St. Charles Parish Council are all invited to the Celebration of Life Service at 11:00am on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Mount Airy Baptist Church, 13635 Old Spanish Trail, Boutte, LA 70039. Rev. Clyde Staes-Pastor. Visitation 9:00am until the time of service at the above-named Church. Interment private. Final Arrangements Entrusted to Patrick H.
