Celestine Humphrey

1955 - 2025

Celestine Humphrey was born on July 17, 1955 and departed this life on August 3, 2025.  Celestine was proceeded in death by her beloved mother Beatrice Hills-Humphrey and father, Irvin Humphrey, Sr.  She was the sister of Evelyn Carter, Verline Lee-Harding, Shelia Humphrey-White, Charles Humphrey, Earnest Hills, Emile Lee, Jr., and Spencer Lee.

Celestine was educated in the St. Charles Parish School system.  Celestine was baptized by the late Rev. Dell Parker at Greater Good Hope Baptist Church.  Celestine leaves to cherish her memories her sisters, Veronica Humphrey, Eva Lee-Smith (the late Clarence), Robbie (Staffor) Jackson; brothers Joseph Lee and Irvin Humphrey, Jr.  Celestine also leaves a host of nieces and nephews and other family members.  Acknowledging her nephew Claude Humphries for always being there for her. 

Celestine has received her Heavenly Wings, Rest Peacefully!!

John 14:3, and if I go prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to myself, that where I am you will be also. 

Relatives and friends of the family, Pastors, officers and members of Greater Good Hope Baptist Church and all surrounding Churches are invited to the Celebration of Life Services at 11:00am on Friday, August 15, 2025 at Greater Good Hope Baptist Church, 47 Cathy Street, Norco, LA 70047.  Rev. Tyrone Scott, Pastor-Officiant.  Visitation 9:00am until time of service at the above-named Church.  Interment private.  Final Arrangements Entrusted to Patrick H.
