Carolyn Franklin Ross

October 9, 1946 - January 3, 2024

Carolyn Franklin Ross went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday January 3, 2024.  She was the  Beloved mother of Suzette R. (Terrence) Williams and Bruce Ross, Sr.  Grandmother of Gavin, Javette, Duran and Bruce Ross, Jr. Great Grandmother of Aspen Ross. Daughter of the late Isiah, Jr., and Alberta Johnson Franklin. Granddaughter of the late Lawrence and Orelia Felo Johnson, Isiah, Sr., and Della Gay Franklin.. Sister of Alberta C. Taylor, Isiah, III, Stacey (Maxie), Dwayne (Sheronda), and Bridget Franklin and the late Louis Davis, Jr., Joel F. Stemley and Michael Franklin.  Sister-in-law of Frank Stemley, Jr., Joyce Davis and the late Ernest Taylor and IdaBell Davis. Also survived by a host of sisters and brothers-in-law, godchildren ,nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age 77 A native and lifelong resident of Algiers (Cut-Off Community), LA. 

Relatives and friends of the family also Pastors, Officers and Members of Second Baptist Church, Second Nazarene Baptist Church, Asbury United Methodist Church, and all neighboring churches, Employees of First Students, Orleans Parish Sheriff Department and Former employees of Charity Hospital are invited to attend Funeral Service on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 10AM at Second Baptist Church 2836 Sullen Place Algiers, LA. Pastor Andre Sigler, Officiating. Visitation will be held from 8AM-9:50AM ONLY.  Interment in Restlawn Park Cemetery Avondale, LA.  Final Arrangements Entrusted to Patrick H.
