Carla "Boo" Jackson

1966 - 2024

And God will wipe away every tear from their eye, there shall be not more death,

On Tuesday, September 17, 2024, Carla “Boo” Jackson departed this earthly life for her eternal home. Carla was born on December 31, 1966, in New Orleans, LA to the late Elouise Jackson and Robert Joseph, Sr.

Carla was known for her love and passion for people and her soft heart for all children. Carla resided in Reserve, LA. Carla was a member of the Greater New Plymouth Rock Baptist Church and attended until God called her home.

Carla leaves to cherish her precious memories in the hearts of her children, Darnell Sterling of Donaldsonville, LA, Joshua and Brittany Jackson of Reserve, LA. Her father Robert Joseph, Sr., Her sisters Stephanie Jackson of California, LA., Chantel, Catina and JoAnna of Laplace, LA and Angela Jackson of Los Angeles, CA One brother Harold (Taravia) Jackson of Laplace, LA. One uncle Donald Jackson of Reserve, LA, one Godchild Jakhia Nelson, and 8 grandchildren, Precious, Darnell, Jr. and Karnell Sterling of Donaldsonville, LA., Briana and Kaylee Jackson of Reserve, LA., KyJane Wilson, Yaleah and Jashias Jackson of Laplace, LA. Carla was preceded in death by her mother Elouise Jackson, her daughter Iesha Jackson, Grandparents Mable and James Jackson, Sr., Aunts Patricia Jackson, Joyce Johnson, Marylee Page, Barbara Robinson, Albertha Johnson. Uncle James Jackson, Jr., her stepmom Maryann Joseph and her brother Robert Joseph, Jr.

Relatives and friends of the family, Pastors, Officers and Members of Greater New Plymouth Rock Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00am on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Greater New Plymouth Rock Baptist Church, 110 NW 13th Street, Reserve, LA 70084.
